The RAP4 Self Defense T68 uses CO2 to shoot ten Live or Practice rounds semi-automatically up to 40 feet (20 meters). When I performed a live test, I was easily hit the target 60 to 80 feet away. The Live Rounds break open on impact and disperse a cloud of potent PAVA powder, which causes an attacker to cough, choke and become debilitated. They contain a very fine Capsaicin II (chili-pepper) dust-like powder. They will not penetrate through walls, and are far less dangerous to family members and bystanders than bullets.
