Payment/ Shipping
Sorry, the law prohibits us from shipping our products outside of the continentail United States.
We accept Paypal, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. Free UPS ground shipping on all orders over $100.00. All other orders pay only $5.00 for UPS ground. We offer express shipping, which can be selected at check out. Pepper Spray can only ship via ground! Texas residents: 8.25% state sales tax will be added to your order.
All express orders must be placed by 12:00pm Central Time to ship the same day. All express orders placed after 12:00pm Central Time will be shipped on the following business day. If you are ordering with Ground Shipping, Ground orders ship within 48 hours or with in 2 business days.
Returns
Contact us at sales@InventiveSecurity.com for an RA (Return Authorization) number. Provide your name, order number, order date, what you would like to return, daytime telephone number, and reason for return. The RA number must be on your return shipping label. If it is not, your package may be refused and sent back to you. Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery date. We will not accept any returns past 30 days, which is from DATE of PURCHASE.
All non-defective merchandise returns are subject to a 25% restock fee. The product(s) must be returned in new condition with all original packaging, accessories and accompanying literature. If we receive your product without the accompanying accessories and documentation, you will not get a refund or in store credit. If you lost something that goes with your order, you can not return it.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping on your returned items. If you want to return it, you must pay for shipping the item yourself. If, however, we make a mistake on your order, we will reimburse you the cost of shipping your order back to us via Ground or Standard only. No Overnight or Express methods will be reimbursed. We will reship your order the same way we shipped it to you initially at no additional charge. This makes it fair to all concerned.
There is never any refund on freight. If you do return an item for a credit, you will forfeit your original shipping costs. After you contact us for an RA#, we will give you return instructions on where to send your item back.
Exchanges
We will happily exchange any of our products that you purchase for any reason. However, if you are exchanging a product due to wrong product ordered, wrong size, wrong color, wrong type, etc., or because you are not satisfied with the product, you will be charged our standard shipping cost of $5.00 for UPS Ground to have the exchanged product shipped back to you. If a product is being exchanged due to a manufacturers defect, we will exchange that product for you and you will NOT be charged for shipping it back to you.
